Research projects in language, literature and cultural studies
The research projects collected under this site are carried through and written by a multidisciplinary team of cultural scientists. The authors seek to provide a basic understanding of the observed society, focused expertise and advice on specific areas of Central and Eastern Europe and Balkan culture.
The researchers' extensive field experience, subject-matter expertise, and command of both quantitative and qualitative methods allow PECOB to provide a strong foundation for innovative policy analyses.

EUROMED: Mediterranean Voices & the Adriatic Cultural Heritage

The main aim of the Mediterranean Voices project was to reverse the customary emphasis given to monumental heritage and to promote an awareness of the intangible cultural heritage of Mediterranean urban landscapes amongst as wide an audience as possible: academics, policy-makers, civil society organisations, educational institutions, and the general public, particularly members of the 'Mediterranean diaspora'.
